[jira] Created: (OPENEJB-1401) Use latest version of maven release
plugin to work around the SVN > 1.5 WC->Tag over http issue
Use latest version of maven release plugin to work around the SVN > 1.5 WC->Tag over http issue
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: OPENEJB-1401
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENEJB-1401
Project: OpenEJB
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: build
Affects Versions: 3.1.x
Reporter: Stephen Connolly
Priority: Trivial
Attachments: openejb-1401.patch
When creating a release with the maven release plugin, the release plugin attempts to tag the code.
If using Subversion 1.5 or newer, an issue with copying from the working copy to create a tag (when accessing a http / https repository) will cause the release to fail.
To work around this issue it is necessary to upgrade to m-r-p:2.1 and set remote tagging to true
