> Parquet predicate pushdown on columns with dots is disabled in -SPARK-20364- due to Parquet's APIs don't support it. A new set of APIs is purposed in PARQUET-1809 to generalize the support of nested cols which can address this issue. This implementation will be merged into Spark repo first until we get a new release from Parquet community.
