Tomcat 6 is EOL after 31 December 2016. Currently living versions of Tomcat are 7.0,x, 8.5.x, 9.0.x. Since Hadoop upgraded the bundled Tomcat to 8.5.43 in HADOOP-16439, I'm proposing to upgrade to Tomcat 8.5.50 (newest in 8.5.x) here. The reason why not Tomcat 9.x is that it dropped Java 7 support.
