Using message persistence under ServiceMix

We've been trying to get around persistence under ServiceMix, but we 
didn't found exhaustive documentation on how to use it and configure it.

We want to know how to recover persisted messages after system hang-up, 
for example. Is there any automated task that recovers them and re-send 
the messages from the point the system was stopped? In that case, how can 
we configure that?

Any doc link or help would be much appreciated.
