Appending a child from another document.

Hi,

I have a DOM_Node from one document and i would like to append it to another
document but i get the WRONG_DOCUMENT_ERR exception. I understand what the
exception means but i can't see the logic behind it. Why can't i append a
DOM_Node created in one document to another document?

Is there a simple way to do so?
