Hi Deepak,
I removed the dev and commit list in my reply. The dev list is mainly
for those interested in technical discussions about how to implement
and/or fix features in Phoenix. The commit list is a list you can
subscribe to if you want to be notified of commits to the source repo
of Phoenix.

This seems like a user-level question. Have you seen our Data Type
reference here: http://phoenix.apache.org/language/datatypes.html?
