dots in Subversion logo?

Hi all,

finalizing the T-shirt design for our Subversion hackathon coming up in
May, I've just been working with the Subversion logo again (the slanted
S on black background).

It came to my notice that it actually has four dots near the lower left
corner. Do they mean anything? A secret society's mark that was sneaked
into our logo? German Umlauts??

Sübversiön!

A T-shirt? Well, if you're coming to the hackathon, chances of getting
one in your size is close to 100% :) If not, maybe we can arrange
special treatment and mail you one of the XXL leftovers, if any.

Hmm, I could change my job to marketing T-shirts on open source mailing
lists...

[ Please, any Turkish people, do not feel offended. I live in Berlin
Kreuzberg and I embrace my fellow Turkish Germans. German Turks??
Berliners! Actually, is 'yalla' even Turkish? Could be Arabic. ]

OTing away...

To a German native speaker that sounds
like a mockery on Turkish people.

haha... no, they don't mean anything that I'm aware of. Just an extra
bit of style the logo designer put in there.

And note the official logo is on a blue background. (a black
background would be a derivative work of a registered trademark...
probably not a good idea to do ;-) )
