[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-1996) Storage tags ignored when using VMWare

Francois Gaudreault created CLOUDSTACK-1996:
-----------------------------------------------

Summary: Storage tags ignored when using VMWare
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-1996
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-1996
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
          Components: VMware
    Affects Versions: 4.1.0
            Reporter: Francois Gaudreault

We did put a storage tag on a local datastore (e.g 12local), and we created a service offering with storage type "local" and this storage tag enclosed.

CloudStack did create the volume on another local primary storage, not the one we asked. Interesting enough, if we use host + storage tag, it appears to be working.
