I am going to say wontfix as the @author tags are not usually the issue, it is
the SCM logs.
1. there are tasks to get at the SCM log.
2. Cruise control, from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/cruisecontrol/
is a tool to do a checkout, build and then send blame mail to anyone who changed
the build since the last successful run, produces web status pages, etc. It is
hard to get up and running, but we swear by it, even for Win32/C++ dev.
