java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java/lang/ClassLoader.setPackageAssertionStatus(Ljava/lang/String;Z)V

Hello friends,
 
When iam trying to compile the files using build.xml using ANT , iam getting the followingg exception
 

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java/lang/ClassLoader.setPackageAssertionStatus(Ljava/lang/String;Z)V

Any help is much appreciated
