Resolution: Won't Fix
I think that this kind of tiny files doesn't hurt in svn. Any file which helps getting a proper project in your favorite IDE in little time is a gain more than a pain.
If you still disagree with this, you're welcome to come discuss it on the easyant-dev mailing list which is a more appropriate place for that.
