Spin off from "Issue 88899 - First selected Rows in TABLE become deselected
when selection exceeds visible area at the bottom".
Steps how to reproduce Reproducible with "AOO 4.1.0 RC4 – German UI / German
locale [AOO410m18(Build:9764) - Rev. 1589052 2014-04-22 11:43:54]" on German
WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor
versions:
0. Open new Writer document
2. Insert Table 25 columns x 4 rows
3. Window size: fills all monitor
4. Zoom / Focus: 400, Cell A1, All rows, app 10 columns are visible
5. Mouse pointer above a1 close to A1, pointer changes to thick arrow down
"select column" view
6. click, keep mouse button pushed
> first column becomes selected
7. Slowly move mouse pointer to the right with still mouse button pushed
> additional columns become selected one by one
8. Stop moving mouse pointer when it has reached vertical scroll slider
Expected: horizontal scroll starts, additional columns selected at the
right
Actual: all selected columns except first one become deselected
Additional info:
(a) Should be fixed together with Issue 88899
(b) Not a problem with right to left selection
(c) Already reproducible with OOo 3.3.0
(d) was ok with OOo 2.0.2

No evidence in help selecting;tables for expected behavior.
Actual behavior: all selected columns are kept highlighted.

Also Reproducible with LibO 3.5.7.2 Build 350m1(Build:2) on UBUNTU Linux 12.04
x64 (VirtualBox)

So you did not do the same test I did or you suffer from similar problems as I
had to Issue 88899 where other effects covered the problem.

I followed description steps carefully.
PS Confirming your own bugs with no other comments/votes in favor is the way to
go if you are planning a fork from AOO (Librefeld Office? :) ).
