Survey Tweets from @CloudStack?

Can someone take the time to build up a CSV of tweets that we can pull
into Hootsuite for the @CloudStack account to promote the survey?

If someone does this, I can load it into hootsuite.

Formatting rules:

Column 1: Date and time. The accepted DATE format is: mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm
or dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm Be sure to identify which format you are using
above.

Column 2: Your message. For Twitter there is a limit of 140
characters, including the URL (which reserves at most 23 characters)

Column 3: URL (optional): The full URL

Times must be set in the future (at least 10 minutes from upload time).

Posting times should end in either a 5 or a 0, i.e. 10:45 or 10:50.

Define only one message per time slot.

Duplicate messages are not allowed.

There is a maximum of 350 scheduled messages across all social networks.

Yes, but it will take some time to pull this together, and there's no guarantee we'll get everyone.

If we have contacts, that would certainly make it easier/faster.

Cheers,
Sally

I'm also happy to as well, since it's as easy as putting the new names
into simple text list and then doing an alpha sort + dedupe against the
text list here:

After the data from the survey is complied, I will plan to put together
that infographic we talked about previously. I think that would be one
great way to display at least some of the information.

RE: Survey Tweets from @CloudStack?

Posted by Giles Sirett <gi...@shapeblue.com>.
Yep - I agree

Heres my plan:

Pick a date, say last day July
I'll pull the full dataset from the survey, send over to Sally. Sally, will you be able to cross ref against the exisiting known user list ?
We can then update that list an publish

For people who have completed the survey, we now have a type (i.e. private/public), location, URL and this data (real example)....

Please describe your organization in a few words as you would like it listed on the project website
ZeroMachine.net is a provider of Cloud IaaS services for small and medium businesses world wide.
Please describe your use of CloudStack in a few words as you would like it listed on the project website
ZeroMachine.net has standardized upon Apache CloudStack and the KVM hypervisor to supply infrastructure for businesses needing to host x86 operating systems in the cloud.

It would be great if we're able to add this to the known user list as it gives that list a bit of "depth"
The problem is that, as so many of our known, exisiting users have not responded, we only have this for the few who have

IMO we should leave it there permanently

i.e. it’s a chance for anybody to tell us about their usage at any time if they stumble into CS.org

Eventually I'd like to see the survey (or its children/grandchildren) drive our known user list

Obviously, there's a diminishing ROI on promoting it - I'd say for a week or two

Chip (and team):
CSV file for the survey tweets is here: https://citrix.sharefile.com/d/sdd11532803a49b6b

To summarize:
-6 tweets over a 2 day period starting on Monday.
-Timing is such that we should hit the workday in all time zones.
-Nothing too provocative, as we want to get honest responses (not flames).
-I did not use bit.ly or another url shortening tool. Although that gives us additional tracking, I felt that seeing "apache" in the URL gives it legitimacy.

Happy to change things, throw this away and start over, whatever you need...

Have a great weekend (it is sunny here, so life is good),
geralyn

I can do this, if it can wait until this evening. Let me know...

Subject: Survey Tweets from @CloudStack?

Can someone take the time to build up a CSV of tweets that we can pull into Hootsuite for the @CloudStack account to promote the survey?

If someone does this, I can load it into hootsuite.

Formatting rules:

Column 1: Date and time. The accepted DATE format is: mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm or dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm Be sure to identify which format you are using above.

Column 2: Your message. For Twitter there is a limit of 140 characters, including the URL (which reserves at most 23 characters)
