RE: SSL documentation

I am going to follow the instructions on 
 <http://xml.apache.org/soap/docs/install/FAQ_Tomcat_SOAP_SSL.html> 
to try out SOAP over HTTPS. 
Can anyone tell if the client authentication -- i.e. sending the client
certificate to the server is automaticlly handled by the setting in the
example client  code there ? If not, how can this be achieved ?
