Honestly, we need more information before we can reproduce this. Is this code bundled into Cordova? Is Cordova pointing at a remote server? Do you have any logcat information from the Kitkat device? What version of Kitkat are you running? Which device are you running this on? If we could get more information on this, that would be greatly appreciated.
