https://bz.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=7347

            Bug ID: 7347
           Summary: spampd and DNS problems
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 2.30
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: spamproxyd
          Assignee: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
          Reporter: matteo@corti.li

spampd giving me the following errors:

Aug 30 15:04:16 corti.li spamd[2200]: dns: unable to connect to
[213.133.99.99]:53, no more alternatives
Aug 30 15:04:16 corti.li spamd[2200]: error creating a DNS resolver socket:
Address family for hostname not supported at
/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Mail/SpamAssassin/DnsResolver.pm line 434,
<GEN665> line 61.
where 213.133.99.99 is the IP of my DNS server.

but he DNS server is reachable:

root@corti ~> telnet 213.133.99.99 53
Trying 213.133.99.99...
Connected to 213.133.99.99.
Escape character is '^]'.
the notation in [] seems related to IPv6 but I didn't find any useful
information on the problem.

Is there a problem?
