Ftp transfer 2 bytes short

Hi

We've hit a serious issue in our billing mediation system!

When we transfer the our files, the received files are 2 bytes shorter 
than they should be. The FtpClient is using compression for the 
transfer, and we are running on Solaris 10 with Java 5.

How do we fix this?
