I come back to check the logic, this should not happen ..
Basically, all tryCommit / doneAppAttempt / removeNode holds CS write lock. I took some time but could not get the root cause. Logs are rolled so I cannot see the initial state as well. I just converted this JIRA to fix logs, and downgrade to critical.
