I added the isCollapsed & setCollapsed methods, but didn't touch the tab re-selection logic when tabs are removed.

Having thought it through a little more,  the logic to use when re-selecting a tab seems be application specific.  
For instance, different applications might differ as to whether disabled tabs should be selected.
