Summary: Only last receiver in configuration XML appears in
receiver list
Product: Log4j
Version: 1.2
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: chainsaw
AssignedTo: log4j-dev@logging.apache.org
ReportedBy: timothy.high@sknt.com
I have configured 3 different LogFilePatternReceivers in my Chainsaw startup
configuration file (see attachments). The 3 files represented by these receivers
are properly loaded into Chainsaw log panels. However, the Receivers panel only
shows the last receiver in the configuration (see screenshot).

I don't think we'll fix this one. If you specify receivers with the same name,
it's just not going to get you too far.

This is because all of the Receiver plugins specified in the configuration have
the same name. Give each plugin a different name and it should work.

Ok, I see my mistake. I assumed the name was determined by the <name> tag, but I
hadn't noticed the "name" attribute of the plugin tag.
