Submit Button ListMap linking

I am working on something and I wanted a submit button on both the top and
bottom of the page to edit what ever selections are made on the page.  one
of the edit buttons was a pre-existing button.  I've added the other, I gave
it a different jwcid name, "edit2".  And it points to the same listener in
the page file, but when I use the one I created, it doesn't link the
selections to the Listmap object I use on the subsequent page.  The
previously created button still does though.  Anyone know what I'm missing
to link the selection from the previous page to these submit button?
