Multiple proxies in settings.xml bug

Is this issue resolved in 2.2.1?

Looks to still be open.

 

I came across it when running through the Atlassian Plugin SDK tutorial
as their public maven repo is behind and https server and the maven one
is on http and there are stages in the process where you have to
download resources from both repos and this bug/limitation is not making
that possible.

The JIRA is still open and it looks like the patch has not been
accepted/applied. Feel free to vote for it or watch it.
