How stable is Sqoop2 comparing to Sqoop1?

Hi Experts,


Just wanted to get some info regarding Sqoop2 stability.


Is Sqoop2 production ready and being used within the industry.


Also which of the Hadoop distros (HDP, MapR, CDH) and their versions have support for Sqoop2.

Latest stable release is 1.4.6 (download<http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.lua/sqoop/1.4.6>, documentation<http://sqoop.apache.org/docs/1.4.6/index.html>). Latest cut of Sqoop2 is 1.99.7 (download<http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.lua/sqoop/1.99.7>, documentation<http://sqoop.apache.org/docs/1.99.7/index.html>). Note that 1.99.7 is not compatible with 1.4.6 and not feature complete, it is not intended for production deployment.
