Is sorting possible ?

Hello,

 I have a question concerning the possibility of sorting by a column:

 I fill and generate an excel-sheet with two separate list of datas. Both
 sets of data share the same key. Now before rendering the sheet to a browser,
 I would like to deliver the output sorted by this key.
 I have tried to figure out, if POI supports sorting but haven't found any
 indication yet. 
 
 Is it possible to sort a sheet by a column in POI or is this not supported
 ?
