   ### What needs to happen?
   
   There have been failing samples in the past that have only been detected when someone noticed us. 
   We need integration tests for the samples to make sure the entire sample project works as expected. 
   
   todo: run all of the available sample workflows and pipelines. exclude a (limited) number of workflows and pipelines, and document (note?) why those hpl/hwf files have been excluded.
