how about to make it become part of Struts.

so Struts repositioning as a framework that have Web version (WebWork)
and standalone,

Patrick did message me about the idea SwingWork, but the project dont
have a sample,

I have pendulum source code.

I think in the future, can we have alo databinding tech for Struts, both
for web and swing or may be SWT, or Flash

can imagine a framework like OpenLaszlo .. but for both world.

Generally, how new additions work is the Struts community is exposed to the
idea/code for a while, giving it time to gain acceptance steam. Also, there has
to be at least one committer willing to put in the time to develop and maintain
it. Please feel free to open a new feature ticket, but I'll be honest, I don't
see this happening in the next few weeks since we are working on getting Struts
2.0.0 out the door.

There was some interest in this sort of thing back in the day.

But, as Don said, someone would have to an itch to create and maintain
such a thing, and then attract several other developers who were
interested in helping.

I'd also like to see a Struts 2 for other environments, like C# and
PHP. It's an elegant architecture and worth evangelizing.
