Create two monitoring artifacts via EJB on local server; one monitors the local server(server A), and the other monitors a remote one(server B). Meanwhile, create two on the remote server; one for A and the other one for B.
Enable queries on the local server, you will find various problems occurred when trying to enable them on the remote server.

As you mentioned, the two EJB servers seem to have the same behavior, the reason is that the second connecting try connect to the first succeeded target, the same reason of [GERONIMO-4839|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-4839]
