   Reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-7992).
   
   The issue body is effectively empty — it contains only a migrated triage note asking whether this concerns schema-on-read or general schema evolution, with no reproduction, stack trace, affected Hudi version, or index type.
   
   To move this forward, could you please provide:
   - the Hudi version,
   - the index type and config in use,
   - a minimal repro (table config + the schema-evolution operation + the write/index step that fails),
   - the full stack trace of the failure.
   
   If we don't hear back in 30 days, we'll close as stale.
