[jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-13733) nodetool toptables

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-13733?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16110044#comment-16110044 ]

Jon Haddad commented on CASSANDRA-13733:
----------------------------------------

[~jjirsa] Yes, top-k would be fine, definitely doesn't need to be anything crazy. Anything behind a simple nodetool command would be a job for a metrics collection tool. I think being able to pass in a keyspace would be nice, but other than that I can't think of any customizations that would be helpful.

[~cnlwsu], Makes sense to me. I haven't looked at any of the internals on how to approach it, so I default to you for suggestions.

> In the same way toppartitions samples the activity on a table, toptables should be able to report which tables are used the most.
