[jira] [Commented] (ARROW-3570) [Packaging] Don't bundle test data files with python wheels

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-3570?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16657376#comment-16657376 ]

Antoine Pitrou commented on ARROW-3570:
---------------------------------------

If they're required to run the test suite, then they should be bundled IMO. It's not nice to get errors when you run the test suite of an installed package (running the test suite can be a way of checking the package is installed fine).
