sqlj-based repositories

I've tried 2.2 out on a zSeries box running zOS with with the
file-system-based repositories, and it works fine.  I'd like to do the
database (DB2, specifically) repositories, but we don't allow the dynamic
JDBC you have, so I'd like to create separate repositories for sqlj.  If
there are any recommendations on the best way to proceed (and if this would
be welcome, or just my own personal branch), I would appreciate it.
