Hi there, based on your email it looks like you are specificly asking 
questions about using the Lucene Java API, please consider re-sending your 
question to the java-user@lucene.apache.org mailing list.

general@lucene is a very broad list for discussion about the 
entire Lucene project, or for people with questions about Lucene who 
aren't even sure how to approach things (write search code using the 
Lucene Java API, run the nutch to crawl content, run SOlr and index 
content with python, etc...)

the java-user@lucene list has more subscribers then general@lucene, and 
more people actively assisting people who have questions/problems using 
the Java API.
