AW: [SPAM] trouble building jetspeed 2.1-dev with maven2
Hi,
Maven2 does not work wirh Jetspeed2.
Please use Maven 1.0.2

hi folks,
iŽm new to jetspeed2/maven2. trying to compile the latest trunk with "mvn"
bails out with:
(IŽm using maven 2.0.4 btw.)
[INFO] Error building POM (may not be this project's POM).
Project ID: jaxen:jaxen
Reason: Error getting POM for 'jaxen:jaxen' from the repository: Error
transferring file
jaxen:jaxen:pom:1.0-FCS-full
from the specified remote repositories:
central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2),
org.apache (http://cvs.apache.org/repository),
com.bluesunrise.m1 (http://www.bluesunrise.com/maven),
com.bluesunrise.m2 (http://www.bluesunrise.com/maven2),
org.codehaus (http://dist.codehaus.org)
during compile i see a repeating warning:
[WARNING] POM for
'org.apache.portals.bridges:portals-bridges-common:pom:1.0.1-dev:provided'
is invalid. It will be ignored for artifact resolution. Reason: Not a v4.0.0
POM.
any help is very much apprechiated.

It does (http://wiki.apache.org/portals/Jetspeed2/Maven2BuildSupport).
If there are some transfer/download errors (usually due to network or
remote repository overload), repeat the goal until it succeeds.

Jetspeed has Maven 2 build support. It worked fine for some time. But
yesterday I checked out the trunk version and have the same error.
Does someone know how to resolve this jaxen dependency?
