> HBase Debian packages recommend ntp, which conflicts with chrony. I believe ntp is not actually a dependency of HBase, but recommended simply as a way to prevent clock skew which would adversely affect HBase. Chrony fulfills the recommendation in the same way, so recommending either one is acceptable, and installations should not force the removal of chrony.
