   I just pushed an update to state that the developer should *both* run `npm test` on the local machine and check that the continuous integration status is green.
   
   I spotted a couple more items that we should check:
   - [ ] "JIRA" still not completely removed, and also not from some other repos. I will raise a top-level Cordova issue to track this.
   - [ ] assumption that the developer knows what we mean by "continuous integration". It would be ideal to have a link to actual CI pages & other resources that the developer can check out.
