I still got some nasty stack traces with SNAPSHOT-0.9, even if the result is much much better.
[ERROR] io - -Uncaught exception: <java.io.IOException: Too many open files>
java.io.IOException: Too many open files
at sun.nio.ch.ServerSocketChannelImpl.accept0(Native Method)
at sun.nio.ch.ServerSocketChannelImpl.accept(ServerSocketChannelImpl.java:134)
at org.apache.mina.io.socket.SocketAcceptor$Worker.run(SocketAcceptor.java:217)
it occurs from time to time. TCP/IP setting ?

well, this is not Apache-ds that caused the problem... but the tool that send requests without closing the connections !
