OK - I've unbroken code generation.
The build is now failing with a compile error in some of the tests,
however I think this is due to a change in the test libraries which
has been patched for on M2 but not on trunk.

GAH! that checkin was *meant* to be on my multiversion branch (knew I
couldn't trust Tortoise :-( )...
You'll have a lot worse problems than just the lack of velocity if that all
got checked in on trunk. [The way all the generated classes work is
different].
I'm not able to do much today... I'll look at what happened and try to
unpick later :-(
If you need to use gentools for java on trunk today, you'll have to revert
to a version before my checkin... Otherwise stick to the M2 branch.
