Converting a TREE FRAGMENT to a node-set()

Hiya,

How can I work on a RTREEFRAG as if it was a node-set, or how can I
convert a RTREEFRAG to a node-set?

Is there a node-set() available out of the box with Cocoon?

What is the recommended way of achieving this?

Thanks for your time,

Phil

I'm not too afraid. Are there any directions that you know of for
getting xalan 2.4 working in cocoon?

Is anyone doing this? Are there any gotchas I should know about?

Thanks again,

Phil

Phil,

if you're not afraid of something NOT standard (XSLT 1.1 has no provision for tree-fragment conversion, while the upcoming 2.0 has),
you could use a Xalan extension function, see http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/extensionslib.html#nodeset .
