[jira] [Created] (JDO-727) Provide definition of default table/column/FK/PK/index identifier names

Andy Jefferson created JDO-727:
----------------------------------

Summary: Provide definition of default table/column/FK/PK/index identifier names
                 Key: JDO-727
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-727
             Project: JDO
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: specification, tck
            Reporter: Andy Jefferson

Whilst the user can specify table/column/FK/PK/index identifier names, if they don't the JDO spec doesn't define what identifiers will be used. It would be desirable to provide a definition of naming for such schema identifiers.

JPA spec defines a default, and DataNucleus has other options, defined on this page
http://www.datanucleus.org/products/accessplatform/jdo/orm/datastore_identifiers.html

We could simply take the JPA defaults and then people have portability back to using JDO mapping.
