[jira] Commented: (DERBY-957) Long passed into an exception gets displayed using locale specific formatting. i18n/locale issue

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-957?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#action_12532887 ]

Knut Anders Hatlen commented on DERBY-957:
------------------------------------------

Although statementJdbc20 is a canon based test, parts of it use assertions:

			// verify that table was not created
			try
			{
				rs = stmt.executeQuery("select * from trash");
				System.out.println("select from trash expected to fail");
			}
			catch (SQLException e)
			{
              BaseJDBCTestCase.assertSQLState("42X05", e);
			}

We could fix the failures by using BaseJDBCTestCase.assertSQLState() in more of the test cases.
