tomcat server versus apache connector
I'm trying to get a grip on the ajp13 connector and how it interacts with
apache. I could not get SSL to work with apache and tomcat so I changed the
port to 443 in server.xml and stopped the ssl in httpd.conf and it works.
Anyway, I was wondering if this will cause a big performance problem. 95%
of the pages are jsp over ssl so I was wondering if apache would help
significantly. Really not many hits to the website (maybe 50 total people
viewing at on time at max). Should I pursue this apache thing or should I
just stop burning time with this thing?
Best regards,
Andrew Judge
