Re: Storage pool not found: no storage pool with matching uuid s87\u000e

It seems the issue has disappeared after harmonizing all kvm storage pool definitions.

Thanks!

Autostart=no is ok. If you restart kvm host then set it to “start” using virsh autostart command.

From the logs it looks like some issue with the primary storage. If possible can you add another primary storage and try deploying vm?

Hi Sanjeev,
should I expect to have more than one pool per hypervisor, like:

# virsh pool-list
Name                 State      Autostart
-----------------------------------------
74c2636f-43c5-469f-862f-4da7e1e8662a active     no
e6949998-9773-38ad-86bd-87ce37bf0e9b active     no

And in addition, is this Autostart=no good enough?

Thanks and Best Regards,
Niki

Hi Niki,

Check pool status on the hypervisors using "virsh pool-list" command. Storage pools should be in active and up state. If not try host "Force Reconnect" from CS. This might help in bringing the storage pools in upstate on the hypervisors.

Thanks,
Sanjeev

Hi all,

we are using CloudStack 4.1.1 against KVM hypervisors and from time to time we are getting the following strange exception, hence we got failure in VM deployment:
