Sun Solaris 2.4

I want to convert my unix box into a Web server, it has the operating system 
sun solaris 2.4 install on it. I Apache was recommended to me. Could you tell 
is it compatable with Sun Solaris and how much disk space I need.  Could you 
also tell me what files I have to download, and the Unix command for unzipping
tar and Z file in Unix
