[jira] [Created] (QPID-5393) Dispatch - Allow qdstat to query any router in the network from a connection

Ted Ross created QPID-5393:
------------------------------

             Summary: Dispatch - Allow qdstat to query any router in the network from a connection
                 Key: QPID-5393
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-5393
             Project: Qpid
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Qpid Dispatch
            Reporter: Ted Ross
            Assignee: Ted Ross

This improvement allows the qdstat CLI tool to query any router in the network regardless of which one it is attached to. There are two relevant options for this feature:
 || Option || Description ||
 || --bus host:port || This defines the access point for the tool. Normally, this is the host/port of the _nearest_ router ||
 || --router router-id || This is the identifier of the router to be queried ||

Note that the list of routers can be found using "qdstat -n".

This is an important feature for situations where a remote router may not be accessible directly via TCP/IP because it is behind a firewall or in a disjoint private network.
