   @moulimukherjee I think `doRefresh` in `HiveTableOperations` throws `NoSuchTableException` only if the current metadata is not null.
   
   The relevant part is:
   ```
   if (currentMetadataLocation() != null) {
     throw new NoSuchTableException(String.format("No such table: %s.%s", database, tableName));
   }
   ```
