Custom query to populate objects

Hi...
 
Maybe this is a stupid question, but I gave a look to the docs and couldn't
get the solution.
 
Is there a way to populate a List of Torque business objects from a custom
query (let's say, from a ResultSet) ?
 
Or a way around to do something similar.
I have to specify a Join...
