DO NOT REPLY [Bug 118956] New: Freeze Line Y Position to Gain More Writing Comfort

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=118956

             Bug #: 118956
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Freeze Line Y Position to Gain More Writing Comfort
    Classification: Application
           Product: Word processor
           Version: OOo 3.3
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P3
         Component: viewing
        AssignedTo: ooo-issues@incubator.apache.org
        ReportedBy: t@wantzen.com

Problem Description:
Editing in fullscreen mode is a pretty cool feature. But if you're working with
a big monitor, every newly typed line sticks at the very buttom of the screen.

Possible Solution:
Add a »Freeze Line« Command, which will freeze the current y position of the
cursor. Writer will now work like a old fashioned type writer and the user will
be glad to find his perfect head position for restless writing ...

Cheers
Tobias

Oliver-Rainer Wittmann (orw at apache dot org) <or...@googlemail.com> changed:

           What |Removed |Added
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
           Severity|enhancement |normal

--- Comment #1 from Oliver-Rainer Wittmann (orw at apache dot org) <or...@googlemail.com> ---
getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
