Just two thoughts to document them outside of IRC worlds: 
a) For this property even 8k as default value might be too small for some use cases / applications. 
b) This property (and the meaning of the related value) should be documented rather well to give a clear hint for dev-ppl or sysadmins on the potential implications in production scenarios. Reason: Test data might be chosen too small to discover that at runtime the application will suffer from JSON String elements violating this parameter length restriction.
