Documentation on https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-installer-factory-feature

Hi,
I just figured out that there is Feature Model support in the OSGi installer (https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-installer-factory-feature).
Can we add some documentation and link it in https://sling.apache.org/documentation/bundles/osgi-installer.html#factories?
Especially important is in which format it is supported (far, .osgifeature) and where Maven artifacts are looked up in case they are not bundled..
