hadoop-2.1.0-beta - Namenode federation Configuration

Guys,

Sometime back i installed hadoop-2.1.0 beta version to see the Yarn features. now i want to configure with HDFS federation with this existing cluster setup? Is it possible? 
pls clarify this and help me to get some tutorials for this.
